He has been a private investigator (part-time) since 1985 and also worked as a government contractor teaching military personnel how to identify IED's. Christopher Borba is an experienced investigator who has managed and conducted various investigations ranging from personal injury to large scale internal investigations.
His diverse investigative background consists of conducting national security background investigations (a counterintelligence function), a detective with the Major Crimes Bureau at the Fayetteville, NC police department, a patrol officer, and he served in the infantry with the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division with deployments to Kosovo and Afghanistan.
He has written several published articles on investigations for Pursuit Magazine and Valley Business Front. Two of his articles made the top ten articles of the year for Pursuit Magazine.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree from American Military University and has completed graduate level classes and continuing education courses in industrial espionage, interview and interrogation, body language interviewing, death investigation, internal investigations, and more. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration.

Maria Watson earned a Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice from Liberty University. She has most recently worked as a Benefits Program Specialist through the Roanoke City Department of Social Services. Before that, she held administrative positions with the Roanoke City Police Department as well as VACorp. Her excellent personal skills and attention to detail make her a valuable part of our team.

Denis retired from the U.S. army after spending eighteen years in the army and four years in the Marine Corps. He started in the infantry and transferred to military intelligence where he worked in counterintelligence and human intelligence. He speaks fluent Russian and has lived and worked in Russia and the FSU states. He is a fully qualified interpreter and translator through the DoD. He has a Bachelor degree in Russian studies and specializes in confrontational interviewing and internal investigations.

Michele Deaner is a retired Air Force Paralegal, she spent the majority of her 21 years of service working in the Judge Advocate General's Law offices. As a Paralegal, Michele has worked in multiple legal office settings including general law, civil law and military justice. She is proficient at both legal and general administration. She has earned a Bachelors degree in Legal Studies at Wayland Baptist University and has earned a Professional Managers Certification.
